GPS Eureka is the outcome of the work and effort of Bernard-Luc Gagnon, a self-employed technician with seventeen years of field experience in forestry. Constant use of orienteering tools from maps and compass to GPS units has made it obvious that GPS receptors have imposed their use in the past few years. Their relevance and necessity are felt by industry and the general public to ease their travels and to open up new horizons to explore.
Trained in geomatics since 2001, Bernard-Luc uses and tests many GPS products. This brought him to see that there is not enough available data to maximize their potential use, especially for the general public. He has since committed himself to finding and testing GPS solutions for the majority of users, creating GPS Eureka in the process and providing a new, simple and reliable mapping and guided tour reference.
